Finding a Teacher You Can Trust is an exploration of how our choice in a guide can ultimately shape the way we think, speak, and act. Through visualizations inspired by traditional imagery, we reflect on the qualities of a teacher whose wisdom and goodness help to awaken the best parts of ourselves. The student comes out according to the mold, so whether we turn out to be more or less blessed with virtues depends on the degree to which our lama possesses high personal qualities themselves. Each session highlights how our thoughts, words, and actions create the world we experience, and how a genuine teacher helps to plant the seeds for a more enjoyable and compassionate life.
