This is a powerful gratitude practice designed to lift the mind out of anxiety, discouragement, or self-doubt. We reflect on the countless people who shaped our lives, from parents to early school teachers, later mentors, and those who supported us in ways we may have never before realized. As the meditation unfolds, our gratitude expands to include the spiritual guides and lineage lamas who have so graciously opened this path for us. The session closes with a vision of ourselves as a fully enlightened being as we look back with compassion for the person we are right now.
