This meditation continues building on the earlier practices we’ve learned in this series: preparing the mind, settling the body, connecting the breath, and finally expanding on the visualization of our perfected future self. The meditator holds their attention on the image of themselves hovering above the earth’s atmosphere as a future Buddha, lovingly radiant and wise. We are then prompted to periodically check our focus: has the mind wandered, or is our concentration holding to the object of meditation? We dedicate the efforts of our practice in order to spread compassion throughout the world.
