This meditation begins by settling the mind and directing our awareness to the subtle space between the eyebrows. We explore this point with curiosity, shifting our focus ever-so-slightly until we find the place where our attention naturally deepens and the mind becomes quiet. Drawing from Naropa’s ancient method, the practice continues by imagining each exhale flowing outward from this point in the middle of the forehead. The slow, extended release of the breath helps to soften inner tension, calm scattered thoughts, and create a clear and grounded state for a deeper sense of concentration.
